“From what we get, we can make a living; what we give, however, makes a life.”
— Arthur Ashe
Educators are innovators.
Our vision is to craft young minds to shape a happy, independent, creative and socially empowered culture for underprivileged children in a society that is built on equality, respect and equal opportunities for all.
Every child irrespective of the cast, creed, colour or religion has the right to live and to live freely; to dream and to dream big but how many actually do? We see them being overpowered by their own parents, their dreams being shattered every moment making them unaware of their true potential. At times, the lack of adequate living conditions and sometimes the gender bias hinders the personal growth of young girls in not just rural parts of India but around the world. We believe in unleashing the creative potential of each young mind and inspire them to realise the value of their being.
Each life is invaluable.
Founded in 2014, The Hooria Foundation is a registered non-government organisation (NGO) that was pioneered for the welfare and development of underprivileged children in rural parts of India.
We believe no one society can be made better in isolation. We work to build a platform of people with different expertise to come forward to help build an equal India, an equal world.
